Bormes-les-Mimosas, the simplicity of a destination that awakens your senses

Bormes-les-Mimosas is listed among the Most Beautiful Villages in France and has also joined the exclusive circle of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World, recognising its commitment to responsible and sustainable tourism.

Dive into exceptional underwater worlds through freediving, snorkelling or scuba diving, set sail towards the islands, or simply choose to do nothing at all and enjoy the crystal-clear waters of Pellegrin, Estagnol or Cabasson beaches. The coastal path creates a seamless link between land and sea, inviting visitors to contemplate and reconnect with protected natural spaces.

Turn your gaze towards the endless shades of blue where sea and sky merge together, or discover the green palette of the Maures Massif. Although access may be restricted during periods of high fire risk, the massif offers a wide variety of hiking trails to suit every expectation.

Losing yourself in the narrow streets of the medieval Provençal village of Bormes is undoubtedly the best way to discover its charm. For the curious and passionate alike, the museum offers an immersive augmented reality experience. Through striking, interactive and engaging reconstructions, visitors can explore the history of the village and Fort Brégançon.

Perched atop a 35-metre-high rocky outcrop, this Mediterranean jewel is a truly exceptional site. Located at the tip of the hamlet of Cabasson, it overlooks the coastline and the Golden Islands. Originally a fortified seigneurial residence during the Middle Ages, Fort Brégançon became the official residence of the Presidents of the French Republic in 1968.
