Listed as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France"

This "Village of Character" is nestled behind its ramparts. You can only enter through 2 fortified gates. Everything here invites you to take a stroll: narrow streets climbing up to the castle, shady squares, craft shops..
Here you'll find the gentle way of life and the Midi accent so dear to Pagnol, who filmed "La femme du boulanger" (The Baker's Wife) here in 1938.

Thanks to its rich cultural heritage, unspoilt natural environment, its craftsmen and the quality of its food, Le Castellet has been awarded the "Station Verte" label.
