Young Audiences - Performance/Dance "2"

Two bodies, two sensibilities, a thousand ways to understand one another. This new production by the La Locomotive dance company creates an inclusive choreographic interpretation in which dance and sign language become one and the same language.

Inspired by the children’s picture books *C’est autant d’amour que je t’envoie* and *Duo Mambo, 2*, the show explores the bonds that unite people through a series of playful and poetic dance scenes. Gestures become words, signs transform into movement, and each encounter opens up a new space for listening and emotion.

Designed for children ages 3 and up, the show blends dance, visual theater, and French Sign Language in a style accessible to both deaf and hearing audiences. The performers execute a delicate choreography where glances, postures, and movements convey the richness of human relationships beyond words. In a lighthearted production also designed for non-specialized venues, *2* celebrates otherness, inclusivity, and the power of body language. A visual and sensory creation that invites young and old alike to experience connection and sharing in a new way.
