A chain that falls, a stone that floats, a pendulum that halts the movement… With *Tout / Rien*, Alexis Rouvre transforms everyday objects into a fascinating exploration of the passage of time.
Alone behind a table shrouded in darkness, a performer brings to life a world of sounds, materials, and movements where every gesture seems to defy the usual laws of time. Chains, volcanic rocks, sand, needles, and magnets become the elements of a strange poetic laboratory where time slows down, stretches out, or vanishes. Blending object theater, juggling, and illusion, *Tout / Rien* weaves a hypnotic ballet in which objects seem to live according to their own sense of time.
Inspired as much by the research of astrophysicist Carlo Rovelli as by pictorial Vanities, Alexis Rouvre explores not so much gravity as our perception of time itself: the time that slips away, the time that suspends the world, the time we try to hold onto. Light, silence, and electroacoustic music sculpt a minimalist space where every detail becomes an event. An abstract and fascinating creation that invites us to see in a new light that which lasts but a moment… and yet contains everything.
