World Soil Day at the Écoferme de la Barre

Come to the Écoferme de la Barre in Toulon for World Soil Day to learn more about organic soil amendments, the soil ecosystem, and traditional tilling methods.

On the agenda:
- Discussions on organic amendments
- The Var-based permaculture association Ecovirage invites you to explore soil as an ecosystem, with a theoretical session indoors and a hands-on session in the gardens at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. (duration: approximately 2 hours).
- Jean Paul and his horse will introduce you to traditional plowing methods. Visitors can explore the Écoferme de la Barre and learn more about agriculture of the past.

The Écoferme de la Barre is open to the public free of charge year-round, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Free admission to the themed gardens and the educational farm. Occasional special events.
