Visit the media library's reserves

Discover the secrets of the media library, usually off-limits to the public. Certain works are now accessible once a month for discovery tours.

While the media library has almost 120,000 documents directly accessible to its users, there are several thousand that are only accessible on request and by appointment: these are the documents in the heritage collections.
Made up of works dating from the 14th to the 21st century, these collections are kept in the media library's reserves. Usually closed to the public, they are now open once a month for guided tours, during which the various collections and some of the most precious emblematic documents are presented.
