Robert Rougeul built it in 1939, according to his own plans, on the basis of the constructive and decorative principles which are dear to him: the whole will be Modern.

The Villa is a large house of about 230 m², with white facades, which follows the shape of a liner. It is dominated at the rear by a wind tower for pumping groundwater. The tiered roof terraces, cubist garden furniture, openings and guardrails follow a strict geometry. The whole is made of reinforced cement. Inside, the finesse of the furniture contrasts with the rigour of the exterior: the furniture is made of teak, decorated with polished glass, and ingenious mechanisms save an interesting amount of space. A few electrical appliances, rare at the time, testify to the owner's research into the creation of his villa, whose functionality and aesthetics can be reminiscent of the liner, the emblematic image of the Modern Movement.
