Tribute Show: The Landing in Provence

Relive the Provence landings and the Liberation of 1944 through music performed by a jazz band and through light with the drone show “From Silence to Light,” commemorating the battles for freedom.

The Var Departmental Council is organizing an event aimed at creating a new, lasting commemoration of the Provence landings, highlighting the restoration of freedom and the importance of remembering the past.

Join us in La Garde on Tuesday, August 11, starting at 9:30 p.m., at the Guy Môquet Sports Complex to experience the unforgettable show *From Silence to Light* and relive the epic history of the Provence Landings leading up to the liberation in August 1944: set to music by a jazz band performing songs from the 1940s and illuminated by a light show featuring drones, evoking the battles for freedom.
