"Tipping Point" Lecture-Performance

A funny and offbeat lecture-performance about how we cope with the contradictions that drive us in the face of the environmental crisis.

It all begins the day Barthélemy Champenois, a meta-science researcher and cyclist, receives a letter from Air France offering him the chance to offset the CO2 emissions from his flight to New York, where he gave his latest lecture. Determined, he decides to take matters into his own hands!

Amid a quest for truth, doubts, calculations, and scientific explanations, he finds himself caught up in a mad dash for carbon offsetting, propelling him far beyond the bounds of the absurd, caught between a past he can no longer change and a future that seems all too difficult to avoid.
