Set against a backdrop of violence, hope, and commitment, this play plunges us into the heart of the school environment and its vulnerabilities. A powerful and sensitive production.
Aleksander is a troubled teenager, torn between his desire for independence and his anger at the school’s rules.
Violette, a school counselor who has just arrived at the school, believes she can resolve the tensions through discipline. Jean, an experienced physics and chemistry teacher, simply snaps when faced with one too many acts of aggression. Mélanie Charvy and Millie Duyé immerse us in the daily life of a school system in turmoil through a cast of characters who are trying to work together to fix what the political system seems unable to resolve.
Featuring students from the drama club at Lycée du Coudon, who will take the stage alongside the actors after a week of rehearsals with Charles Dunnet and Julie Macqueron. A memorable first experience, as they grapple with the demands of the stage and the audience.
