Theater - The Tempest

With five actors portraying about fifteen characters, Philippe Berling and Nathalie Prats take on the challenge of adapting this play by William Shakespeare. Their magical-tragic comedy breathes new life into the classic text with a modern touch and clarity.

Prospéro, duc de Milan, préfère les sciences, les arts et la magie blanche à l’exercice du pouvoir. Déchu et exilé sur une île déserte par son frère, il orchestre sa vengeance, aidé par Ariel, un esprit de l’air.

Avec humour et poésie, la troupe revisite ce récit intemporel sur le pardon, la trahison et la transmission. Sans jamais chavirer, le public l’accompagne dans cette traversée. Un théâtre qui célèbre la liberté et la puissance infinie du jeu.
