Presentation

The French Navy is celebrating its 400th anniversary with a festival village on Place de la Liberté, a military ceremony commemorating the victory at the Battle of Chesapeake Bay, and concerts to close out this wonderful event.
Program
> From 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: An activity village will allow everyone to immerse themselves in the world of the Navy through educational workshops, meet-and-greets with sailors, and an exhibition of ship models.
Partner booths will round out this immersive experience
> 6:00 PM: A military ceremony will honor the crews’ daring and spirit of innovation by commemorating the victory at the Battle of Chesapeake Bay (September 5, 1781), an iconic victory for the Navy
> 7:00 p.m.: A jazz concert by the French Navy Band
> From 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.: An evening hosted by a DJ, with fast food (food trucks) on site, will provide a friendly setting to wrap up the day
