The Conservatoire botanique national méditerranéen of Porquerolles

The Botanical Conservatory carries out an inventory of flora and natural and semi-natural habitats in its leisure area (Provence, Côte d'Azur and Languedoc-Roussillon), in collaboration with a network of scientists (universities, museums, etc.) and field botanists: identification and census of populations of threatened species, assessment of their state, nature and level of threat. The seeds of rare and threatened plants are kept in the hamlet of Porquerolles in a seed bank.
