The sports facilities will host a week of free activities dedicated to young people.
Sports workshops will be organized by the Sports Department and supervised on a voluntary basis by local clubs. Children will take part in a variety of activities, including courses, exercises, competitions and small-scale oppositions.
With 29 disciplines on offer, the week will offer an introduction to :
> Team sports: soccer, rugby, handball, basketball, water polo, futsal;
> Agility and racket sports: tennis, badminton, pickle-ball, gymnastics, trampoline, table tennis;
> Combat sports: judo, boxing, kempo, karate, fencing;
> Outdoor sports: mountain biking, hiking, skateboarding, rollerblading;
> Water sports: rowing, sailing, kayaking, surfing, paddling, diving;
> Other disciplines: athletics, twirling-baton.
The week will close on Friday, July 10 with an open-air snack and awards ceremony, attended by the deputy town councillor for sports and representatives of the associations.
Children and young people taking part will be divided into two age groups:
6 to 9 years and 10 to 14 years.
Children will be picked up by their parents for the lunch break and brought back at the scheduled time for the afternoon activities. On Fridays only, children will bring their own picnic.
