Bodies that rise, fall, support one another, and transform. With "Le Pas du Monde," the XY Collective creates a monumental acrobatic spectacle in which humans interact with the forces of life.
Following “Möbius,” originally scheduled for 2023 and then rescheduled for 2026, the renowned circus company returns to the PÔLE with its latest production. Driven by the collective’s energy and the power of movement, “Le Pas du Monde” unfolds a landscape in constant flux. Human columns, waves of bodies, dashes, and suspended poses form shifting mountains, storms, or fragile forests.
Through this acrobatic choreography of dizzying precision, the artists explore our relationship with time, nature, and what connects us to one another.
Accompanied by songs and an original soundscape, the performance creates a sensory journey where bodies become living matter. Between collapse and rebirth, balance and imbalance, Collectif XY explores how we inhabit the world and build a shared reality.
A spectacular production that celebrates both the strength of the group and the vulnerability of human beings.
Co-produced with the Châteauvallon-Liberté National Theater.
