Ramine's "Chercheur de sens et confiseur d'histoire" exhibition

Ramine, a painter from Brest, usually extracts the dreamlike substance needed for his graphic creations from his readings, encounters and discoveries.

He is often embarked aboard French Navy ships to bring back detailed, illustrated historical accounts, which he presents in exhibitions and books. His commitment to the French maritime community was recognized when he was made a Chevalier du Mérite Maritime in 2021. He has also been honored at the "Salon de la Marine" and at the Académie de Marine for various artistic subjects. Today, Ramine invites you to travel through Geography and History with his colorful and dynamic creations, created on old nautical charts.
