The sixth edition of the Porquerolles Festival will take place from June 11 to 15, 2025 on the island of Porquerolles and the Giens peninsula.
The Porquerolles Film Festival is an annual event that celebrates cinema while focusing on ecological issues. Created in 2020, the festival takes place mainly on the island of Porquerolles and the Giens peninsula, in iconic locations such as Le Provençal and Marché de la Bergerie in Hyères. It is supported by institutions such as the French Ministry of Culture and france.tv.
Each edition presents a selection of films, mixing documentary and fiction, focusing on environmental themes. The films are judged by a jury made up of leading figures from the world of cinema and ecology. Particular attention is paid to young people, with the Ecotubeurs Awards for audiovisual productions created by students, schools and universities.
