The lyrics are biting, raw, incisive, melancholic, and funny, and tackle very current topics: lockdown, environmental issues, bullying in middle school, toxic romantic relationships, screen addiction… Camille Bertault moves with great groove between all her influences: Gainsbourg, Brigitte Fontaine, Horace Silver, Monk, André Minvielle, Björk, Portishead, Ravel, Boris Vian… With panache and virtuosity, the singer pushes the boundaries of vocal jazz.
