In an adaptation by Claudine Garcia, Prom'Opéra presents a selection from this lyrical ode to Provence, born of the literary and musical collaboration between Frédéric Mistral and Charles Gounod.
À Saint-Rémy de Provence sur la stèle de Charles Gounod, il est écrit : "Mireille, un beau matin, chantait. Maître Gounod qui l’écoutait, apprit sa chanson par cœur, et depuis ils chantent à l’unisson".
