Notre Dame beach

Notre Dame was voted "most beautiful beach in Europe" in 2015 by the European organization promoting culture and tourism in Europe (European best destination) and is located 3.5km from the village (45mn on foot, 25mn by bike). Facing north-east, in the extension of La Courtade, its fine sand and translucent water make it an emblematic site on the island. Sheltered from the Mistral wind on the west side and the easterly wind on the east side, it is bordered by pine and oak forests; a wooded bay in a blue jewel case...
Don't forget that you're in the heart of the National Park, and that you'll need to be particularly vigilant to ensure that the island and its seabed remain unspoiled.
