New Olive Oil Festival

Come share a moment of discovery and camaraderie as you follow the traditional journey from olive to oil at our century-old mill.

On the agenda:
• Demonstration of olive oil milling and pressing in our traditional mill
• Introductory olive oil tasting workshop
• Contests: scourtin toss and olive pit throwing
• Tasting of old-fashioned fougasses and traditional Provençal roustide (toasted bread, garlic, and new olive oil)
• Olive wood carvings
• Guided tour of the olive grove on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
• Family treasure hunt
• Demonstration of traditional oil lamp making and a hands-on introductory pottery workshop for children
• Olive tree pruning demonstration and presentation of olive varieties with Jean-François Burgevin on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. — Registration recommended (maximum 20 people)
• Table olive and tapenade workshop
• Presentation on olive tree pests and diseases
