After taking a behind-the-scenes look at TF1 in *Une Télévision française*, Thomas Quillardet continues to explore the popular culture that fascinates him so much by stepping into the shoes of a teenager who is a fan of Mylène Farmer.
Beyond the figure of the idol, it is the desire for emancipation of a teenager still finding his way that we follow on this mental journey. A musical show like no other!
Sylvain dreams of being a composer, a set designer, and a close collaborator with his star. With his electric guitar, he imagines himself as a member of her inner circle, composing the melodies for her hit songs. On stage, his bedroom is all at once: a makeshift music studio, the backstage area at Bercy, but also—and above all—his inner landscape, a realm of endless possibilities. Mylène is never portrayed on stage; she is a figment of the imagination. In this joyful tale, the singer whispers in the young boy’s ear. She helps him grow up and find his independence.
