Twists and turns, intimate revelations, songs, and surprises abound in Fred Radix’s new production. A funny and touching adventure that celebrates the magic of live performance—and the people who bring it to life behind the scenes.
Suitable for all ages, ages 8 and up
This is the zany adventure of Marie-Jo and Anita, two ushers whose lives are turned upside down during a wild winter night in the 1970s. Following an unexpected incident, the audience in the theater is forced to stay there for the night. Our two ushers will have to improvise to keep them entertained. Supported in this unprecedented all-night event by Barnabé, a young, inexperienced usher, and Amédée, the projectionist, they’ll take the stage, tell the audience about the day-to-day realities of their job as ushers, and, above all, steal the show!
Accidents and mishaps will unfold one after another throughout the night, serving as a pretext for confessions, connections, little songs, and beautiful stories. It is the fate of these characters that will elevate this theatrical and musical evening. And you? Have you ever spent an entire night in a theater?
