This museum displays a unique collection of historic items: it retraces the evolution of french artillery up till 1990. The museum of artillery, labelled "Musee de France" is an outstanding showcase for military uniforms and weapons .
Located within the Military Schools of Draguignan, the French Artillery Museum was inaugurated in 1982. It was certified as Musée de France in 2006.
Renovated in 2013, its permanent exhibition traces the technical, tactical and human history of artillery, from its origins to the present day. Its rich collections illustrate the constant evolution of this weapon.
