A jewel in the Paris National Opera’s repertoire, *La Bayadère* dazzles with its virtuosic variations, its impressive ensemble scenes, and the purity of its “Act of the Shadows,” during which 32 dancers in white tutus slowly trace their arabesques with a poetry bordering on magic.
