Support for associative life :
Through its "Centre de Ressources Départemental de la Vie Associative", the Ligue de l'Enseignement - FOL du Var is particularly active in helping associations to develop. It offers practical training for association volunteers in areas such as accounting, statutes and communications, etc. Our teams support associations on a daily basis in the implementation and engineering of their projects. La Ligue de l'Enseignement - FOL du Var is a trusted third party for URSSAF, which, thanks to the impact emploi scheme, enables us to draw up salary slips and quarterly and annual declarations for associations. Finally, we offer young people aged 13 and over the chance to make their commitment a reality by setting up a junior association, and by awarding project grants in conjunction with the CAF and the DDCS. Literacy - French as a foreign language :
The Ligue de l'Enseignement - FOL du Var, through its vocational training institute, offers literacy courses for all people and all levels: writing, reading... Our approach is based on active methods linked to real-life situations. We also offer the DELF (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française) A1 and the TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français). Based on an assessment of the trainee's initial level, we propose a training program adapted to both content and pace.

Cinema :
The Ligue de l'Enseignement - FOL du Var and its Ciné 83 service promote access to culture for all. Through its itinerant screening circuits, Ciné 83 distributes a balanced mix of "general public", "young audience" and "arthouse" cinematographic works throughout the Var. Ciné 83 can also offer one-off "made-to-measure" screenings, including open-air cinema.

Cultural :
L'Hélice, a venue for cultural events and artistic practices, develops a popular education activity that is both demanding and open to local initiatives. It focuses on artistic fields such as contemporary and traditional music, live performance, shows for young audiences, dance, visual and plastic arts. It acts as a platform and springboard for associations. It sees itself as a veritable artistic factory, capable of supporting the projects of: volunteers and association leaders working in the social, cultural and educational fields; teachers, students, parents and institutions; passionate amateur and professional artists and creators, prioritizing actions aimed at young people and audiences excluded for social, economic, educational and geographical reasons.

Education - Access to citizenship :
La Ligue de l'Enseignement - FOL du Var works to combat discrimination and promote equal opportunities (anti-racism and anti-discrimination education weeks, equality between girls and boys, work on stereotypes, etc.) and to promote and educate about secularism (Laïcité Charter explained to children). It offers animation modules on all these themes, aimed at a wide age range, through the "Ambassadors for living together" scheme.

Children-Youth :
The FOL du Var is involved in implementing public policies and those of local authorities. It is therefore an operator in the children/youth field, able to carry out studies and run structures such as youth centers, leisure centers, youth information points, mini-camps, etc.

Environment :
Education for sustainable development is a major challenge for future generations. One of FOL du Var's objectives is to create a link between society and its environment, enabling citizens to make a responsible commitment. To this end, it develops activities to discover local biodiversity, such as vegetable gardens, educational beehives, building nesting boxes and other activities linked to the heritage of each region. The FOL du Var qualifies all these activities with the national "citizenship - environment and sustainable development" label (operation of leisure establishments, activities).

Training :
Because we respect the individual, we want him or her to be part of a dynamic of personal and professional development, in a lifelong learning process that promotes emancipation and active citizenship through popular education. To this end, the Ligue de l'Enseignement - FOL 83 training institute is involved in a variety of training and support initiatives: language training, literacy, French-foreign languages, refresher courses, support for the Valorisation des Acquis de l'Expérience (VAE), child/youth training (BAFA/BAFD, BPJEPS, DEJEPS, etc.) and PSC1 (Prévention et Secours Civiques de niveau1) sessions.

Digital :
The Ligue de l'Enseignement FOL du VAR is organizing a digital reception area dedicated, among other things, to the department's associations and run by young people enrolled in a social and professional integration program: a digital third place for solidarity, the ALTernativ'. We offer an open, participative space for cooperation between associations and young people to tackle the digital transition of the most vulnerable members of the public, as well as a training and discovery program for local social development players.

Early childhood :
The Ligue de l'Enseignement - FOL du Var is developing its expertise in the field of early childhood through professional training and qualifications for staff, and by running multi-accueil structures.

Prevention - Social action:
The Ligue Varoise de Prévention is the prevention-social action arm of the Ligue de l'Enseignement - FOL du Var. It runs preventive educational and social actions aimed at young people in situations of social, moral and physical danger, and on the verge of marginalization. In practical terms, LVP works in disadvantaged neighborhoods, offering specialized prevention, social mediation, family support and health mediation services. Its teams work in Toulon neighborhoods (Ste Musse, Centre-ville, Pont du Las-Rodeilhac, Le Grand Jonquet, La Beaucaire, Pontcarral, La Florane).

First aid :
The Ligue de l'Enseignement FOL du Var offers PSC1 (Prévention de Secours Civiques de niveau 1) training. The aim is to prepare citizens to react in accident and emergency situations... The training is structured around modules in which trainees are required to simulate real-life situations, as well as learn basic first-aid gestures.

USEP is committed to promoting school sports and defending physical education and sports within the public school system, by organizing sports events that complement PE programs. The second, promotes access to sport for all, emerging activities, and encourages and assists all sports association projects.
