Pierrefeu du Var celebrates its liberation on Friday 16 August with a number of events in the village centre.

Information 2024:
The 80th anniversary of the liberation of Pierrefeu du Var will be celebrated on Friday 16 August. Commemorative ceremonies with a concentration of vintage Provence 44 vehicles (Dixmude car park). Apéritif-concert with the group "Mademoiselle", Glen Miller music on the square Jean Du Plessis de Grenedan, followed by a big fireworks display at 10pm, place Jean Jaurès and at 10.30pm liberation ball with the group Méphisto on the place Gambetta.
