Presentation

Since 1930, the Belgentier olive cooperative has been known throughout the region for its table olives, starting with the one that bears its name: the Belgentiéroise.
While this fleshy fruit is still a staple of Provençal aperitifs, production has since expanded to include Lucques, Picholine and Grossane varieties.

The Var cooperative expanded its range by pressing its own oils in the 1950s. This activity is currently enjoying a rare boom, thanks to the popularity of local products in general and olive oil in particular. Nearly 500 cooperative members are benefiting from this, especially as they have been able to modernise their equipment and acquire the necessary machinery to further improve the quality of their oils. This leap in quality has been recognised by the Provence AOC designation.

You will find olive oil, table olives, tapenade and regional products.
Sustainable tourism
Renowned for its table olives (including the famous Belgentiéroise), the olive cooperative has been perpetuating ancestral know-how for almost a century! While it has evolved, modernized and adapted, it has never lost sight of its primary vocation. It continues to support local olive production, a crop that has been rooted in the Var agricultural landscape for generations, and continues to produce traditional olive confectionery. The cooperative is also certified for its organic olive oil production.
All year round, AOC olive oils, green tapenade, black olive paste and other local delights are on sale at the boutique. An address that makes a detour to the Vallée du Gapeau well worthwhile...
