Presentation
Saint-Mandrier plays host to a veritable festival of Italian food, wine and crafts!
For several days, the Place des Résistants will be transformed into a veritable Italian village, brought to life by some fifteen producers and artisans from all over the peninsula - from north to south, via the islands. The perfect opportunity to discover the typical flavours and traditional know-how of Belpaese.
Gourmets will be delighted by "La Casa dei Sapori", the catering area run by the "Association des Chefs Italiens en France". On the menu: fresh pasta, pinsa, regional specialities... to be enjoyed on site for lunch and dinner in a convivial atmosphere.
A market of authentic flavours
The heart of the festival will beat to the rhythm of the gastronomic festival, where visitors can indulge in a wide variety of typical Italian products. Cheeses, artisanal cured meats, Alba truffles, Pugliese sweets, traditional pastries and, of course, the famous Parmigiano Reggiano will be in the spotlight. To accompany these delicacies, a wine and spritz bar will also be present, inviting you to relax and enjoy Italian-style conviviality.
An exclusive master glassmaker from Venice will be on hand to demonstrate the magical world of Murano glass. Those with a passion for leather and fashion accessories will be able to treat themselves to a producer from Campania.
