Immersed in a forest of century-old trees

Venez apprendre l'histoire de Vérignon, marcher à travers les arbres centenaires au cœur d'une magnifique forêt de chênes qui compte parmi les plus belles de Provence.

The first stop will take place in front of the Vérignon town hall, where we’ll give a brief overview of the village’s history and its geographical contrasts, given its location amidst diverse landscapes. Then, you’ll set off on a short walk through the forest of century-old trees toward the chapel. We’ll discuss the history of these trees—why they were preserved, why they’re so old, their characteristics, and the fact that some are quite unusual...
Two quizzes will also be held with the participants. To conclude, there will be a brief introduction to “forest therapy” featuring a moment of meditation and communion with the trees.
