Presentation
Behind the walls of Le Provençal, there's the story of a family going back 70 years and three generations. A house run with passion, a simple and warm atmosphere, both authentic and lively. Since 2012, Damien and Benjamin Piffet, and their wives Julie Liger and Lene Arentsen, have been writing the family history begun by their grandfather. A story of riviera rethought, of fiercely held authenticity, of elegance and timelessness. Between enthusiastic hospitality and a timeless experience, the Hôtel le Provençal in Giens continues its legend, reinterpreted with respect by interior designer Rodolphe Parente. A renovation inspired by the 50s, the Provençal art of living and the glamour of the Riviera. The transformation pays tribute to dance, show business and, of course, grandfather Marius Michel.
Upstairs, the 37 rooms and 4 suites build a bridge between heaven and earth. The colourful authenticity of a Var village at your windows, the insolent beauty of the Mediterranean, the freshness of the pine forest: our rooms and suites offer a made-to-measure refuge to experience the art of living ‘à la Provençal’. Luminous and serene in a 50s style, brightened up with colourful details of fortuitous boldness, they are a well-tended pied-à-terre for resting, dreaming and starting again. And then there's the hustle and bustle outside.
The spirit of Le Provençal is reflected on the plates of its restaurants and bars, on the boats of the fishermen and even in the vineyards of the Var where the best rosés are produced. 6 places and 6 atmospheres to savour the authenticity of local produce and the freshness of the season. The Mediterranean flavours of the Bar du Soleil, the flame-fired cuisine of the Barbecue, the tapas of La Villa Barret, the family recipes of La Brasserie, the delicate score of La Rascasse, and the sea-view aperitifs at Le Panoramique: 6 signatures, multiple emotions.
