Hiking: La Tournavelle

On road DN7, south of les Arcs sur Argens village, go onto Chemin du Bac pathway "Forêt Communale" and follow it for about 3 kms.
- Park at la Tournavelle (1), between the Argens bridge and the Ailles bridge.
- From the carpark, go north to the tarmac road and follow it for about 150 kms
- Go to the left until you meet the Tournavelle track; Follow it for about 1.2 km. At "Apié de Raybaud" junction, follow the pathway onto your right. (2)
- After 500 meters, leave the Tournavelle track and start following the "Estelles" track.
- Walk through the pine forest for about 2 Kms until you reach Pervanquier (4). After 1 km, you reach the Verne Valley (5)
- You reach the Caillandres place, after walking through a forest for about 1.1 km. Walk downhill for about 2 kms through the Carementran Valley (6). Keep going for about 1.5 kms and go uphill 350 meters until the Tournavelle trail
- After 250 meters, leave the Tournavelle trail (3). Take the left path downhill for 300 meters until you reach the Argens River. Follow the river for about 900 meters until back on Tournavelle trail. Follow the Tarmac road to the carpark.
