To mark European Heritage Days, come and explore Collobrières on a geological tour through the heart of the village.
To mark European Heritage Days, the Town of Collobrières invites you to discover the heart of the village in a different way through geological tours.
Following a brief introduction to the major geological events that have shaped the landscapes of the Var, this guided tour offers a simple, fun and fascinating exploration of the geological treasures of the Maures massif, which are closely linked to the history and heritage of Collobrières.
Along the route, you’ll see the stone walls of the old houses, the Pont Vieux and the cobbled streets of the old village. You’ll also be able to step inside the old Saint-Pons church and explore the museum, a veritable treasure trove of mineralogical and palaeontological artefacts.
All these artefacts bear witness to the expertise of past generations and their close connection with nature and the region’s resources.
A wonderful opportunity, as part of the European Heritage Days, to take a fresh look at Collobrières and discover the links between its built heritage, its history and the landscapes of the Maures massif.
