Presentation

Located in the heart of the village of Collobrières, the museum invites you to discover an exceptional collection: over 550 minerals, more than 50 rock fragments, nearly 60 ores and 150 fossils, mainly from the Var region.
A journey through the geology, mineralogy, palaeontology and mining history of the Maures region.

Admission is free, with the option of self-guided or guided tours.

The Collobrières museum is run by the A.M.G.M. (Association de Minéralogie et de Géologie des Maures), in partnership with the town council. The association brings together specialists who run the various sections of the museum.
