Fortin de la Gavaresse: no public access

The fort was built from 1880 to 1881 and it is a building for the defense most easterly in the port of Toulon. It offers panoramic views on the bay of Toulon, Mount Coudon, flowered terraces of Canebas in Carqueiranne, Giens and Hyères Islands. The entrance to the building and within the fort are forbidden to the public.
