Combining rock climbing, video, and stand-up comedy, *Love in the Age of Algorithms* takes a humorous look at our hyperconnected lives and the way social media shapes our desires, our relationships… and our loneliness.
Suspended from a climbing wall that has been transformed into a projection screen, Nadine O’Garra interacts with her digital doubles in a world where the real and the virtual constantly blur. Projected images, body movements, and personal narratives come together to form a hybrid performance at the intersection of circus, dance, and digital arts.
A contemporary reinterpretation of her 2011 show *Amour au Temps d’Ikea*, this new production will be in residence at Le PÔLE in 2026 before its season premiere. There, the company continues its exploration of our relationship to images, self-exposure, and the invisible mechanisms that shape our choices and emotions today. Blending humor, self-deprecation, and visual poetry, *L’Amour au temps de l’algorithme* subtly examines what becomes of intimacy and our connection to others in a world governed by screens and data. A unique, vibrant, and resolutely contemporary form.
