A Black star, proud of her roots and open to a world radiant with light—the world of ballet… THE DEBATE: FROM OCHRE TO GOLD: GERMAINE ACOGNY, LIGHT OF AFRICAN DANCE The discussion will be moderated by Florence Carlini, who holds a Master's degree in Comparative Literature and Dance History.

En puisant son inspiration dans les danses traditionnelles ouest-africaines, Germaine Acogny s’est imposée, au fil de ses cinquante ans de carrière, comme l’une des figures majeures de la danse contemporaine mais également comme l’une des artistes les plus importantes du continent africain. Une étoile noire, fière de ses racines et ouverte sur un monde éclatant de lumière celui du ballet…
