Screening of the documentary "T'as perdu ta langue?" by Didier Mir (in French and Occitan with subtitles) and a concert by Bastien Psaïla.

How many times have we observed the disappearance of the millennia-old intangible heritage that is the Occitan language? Didier Mir attempts to trace the origins of the breakdown in its transmission and shed light on the reasons for the language’s abandonment—reasons that are anything but coincidental.
With the help of historians, political, social, and historical causes shed light on the mechanisms that have affected—and continue to affect—millions of French people in their relationship to language and identity. And it’s not just about Occitans; we also follow the journeys of a woman from Picardy, a Brazilian woman, a woman from Quebec, and a man from Algeria.
The director’s goal is to give a voice to young people who have (re)discovered the Occitan language, using it as a personal and professional tool, a path to (re)discovering themselves, and a driving force for creativity—a collection of successes and new horizons for and through the language.

With a mischievous twinkle in his eye and a feisty streak, the talkative local poet continues his journey and pursues his “terroirist” vision.
Bastien blows his stormy songs right in our faces in Provençal—a bold mix of joyful pastissouns and heart-wrenching caresses. It sparkles, it swaggers, and it’s alive in the countryside… Tè, aganto!
