As it does every year, the village of Gassin is decked out in its finest colours to celebrate its Patron Saint. A highlight for the local residents, it is a living tradition where all generations come together in joy and conviviality.Booking required.
On this occasion, inhabitants are invited to don traditional Provençal dress and take part in a day filled with emotion, music, devotion, and sharing. In the lively streets of the village, traditions are proudly kept alive, bringing young and old together around this precious local heritage. More than just a celebration, it is the very soul of Gassin on display, and everyone is welcome.
Saturday august 8
- 4:00 PM: Square boules competition (concours de boules carrées) through the narrow streets of the village (registration at "L'Authentique" shop).
- 7:00 PM: Complimentary aperitif offered by the OMACL on the leisure area.
- 8:00 PM: Dinner with live music.
- 9:00 PM: Musical entertainment.
Sunday, August 9:
- 10:00 AM: Aubade (morning musical serenade) and procession in front of the Town Hall.
- 10:30 PM: Saint-Laurent Mass at the "Notre Dame de la Consolation" chapel.
- 12:00 PM: Aperitif and "anchoïade" (anchovy dip) offered by the OMACL. Nature picnic in front of the chapel "Bring your own basket".
