Six short fables, portraits, and skits, originally collected under the title *Théâtre sans animaux*, which remind us that the world is not set in stone and that there are still a few places where reality hasn’t slammed the door in our faces. Six delightful little moments that transport you to Absurdia to help you forget the gloomy confinement of routine—six gems of humor to be enjoyed without moderation.

"Et pendant ce temps, Simone Veille" by Trinidad GARCIA

Tracing a path from the 1950s to the present day, three actresses tell the story of women’s rights through colorful characters. Spanning generations, the show recalls women’s struggle for equality and freedom through song and humor. From the corner of the stage, Simone, the narrator, acts as a bridge to the audience, punctuating the show with anecdotes and thought-provoking reminders. A play that makes you laugh and think. From scenes of everyday life and outlandish (yet instructive) stories to hilarious song parodies: a different way of talking about women!

“Life Is a Party” by Lilian LLOYD

Is it because he was born on January 1st that Romain has made Audrey Hepburn’s line his mantra? “Life is a party—dress for it.” From birthday to birthday, from the 1970s to the present day, Romain recounts a carefree life marked by the societal upheavals that have shaken the dawn of the 21st century. Caught between a depressed mother, a loving but clumsy father, and thwarted romances, he prefers to stay away from any conflict and any form of commitment. Family struggles, friendships, and the discovery of love alongside his homosexuality. It will take a tragic event to spur Romain to join the fight, defend his rights, and take a stand.

Should he rely on his “true professional” technique, or simply on his human anxiety? A true lesson in theater, this work lends a particular sharpness and intensity to the “Paradox of the Actor”—a concept dear, ever since Diderot, to all who ponder the art of acting. A toxic, closed-door drama, oscillating between baroque madness and truth distilled drop by drop, with suspense worthy of a thriller.

“Sur le cœur, fantasmagorie du 21e siècle” by Nathalie FILLION

The play takes place in a care and research unit led by neuropsychiatrist Rose SPILLERMAN at the Pitié-Salpétrière Hospital in 2030. New speech-related disorders have emerged since the #MeToo movement. A new patient, Iris, arrives—she no longer speaks—a mystery the team will have to unravel. The hospital becomes a stage for fiction and phantasmagoria, offering a space for reflection on gender relations and post-#MeToo society. A whimsical show that blends song, dance, science, humor, and poetry.
