Set overlooking the valley, Fayence is a large hilltop village, tumbling down the hillside in terraces. You will enjoy exploring its narrow, sloping streets leading to the hilltop where the castle was built, stopping off to admire the frescoes of Eglise St Jean-Baptiste church, or taking to the air to admire the view from a glider (Fayence is home to an international gliding centre).
