Living on the Côte d'Azur during the Trente Glorieuses (1945-1975)
The "Trente Glorieuses" transformed the Côte d'Azur and the way people enjoyed their vacations. Vacation villages, colonies and youth hostels enjoyed a veritable golden age, while camping became very popular.
The crowds generated by these collective accommodations gave rise to a whole panoply of distractions conducive to forging rich vacation memories.
Beaches, amusement parks and nightclubs all contribute to the myth of a vacation on the Côte d'Azur.
