Presentation
Recognized by UNESCO, World Art Day on April 15, Leonardo da Vinci's birthday, celebrates artistic diversity. It invites us to rethink the place of art in our daily lives, to understand that art is not mere entertainment, but a reflection of our humanity in all its plurality and depth. By fragmenting our singular existences, it reveals our hidden riches.
In-residence performances and participatory workshops will invite the public to interact, to engage in a creative process that blurs the boundaries between the beholder and the artist.
MANO x ALT0, Centre des Métiers d'Art de la ville d'Ollioules in the Var region, is a "third place" dedicated to "making", creation, transmission and innovation. It's a place where new connections can be forged, enabling interdisciplinary bridges and fertile dialogues between the skills and techniques of the crafts, design, decorative arts and digital arts.
Les Petits Débrouillards, partners of the city of Ollioules and hosted by Mano x Alto, run the fablab.
