JEAN-PIERRE TACHON paints the rigorous lines of the environment on his canvases, combining the sober and precise perspectives of architecture with the bright or sometimes dark tones of our cities and nature.

The constant quest for simplification gradually leads him towards the shores of abstraction. The exploration of vertical and horizontal structures, combined with a total absence of any superfluous material effects, gives this pictorial approach transparency, luminosity and vigour.
