The Fort du Grand Langoustier is opening its doors free of charge for the European Heritage Days, which are dedicated to photographic heritage and heritage at risk.
Guided tours will be offered at various times, every 45 minutes (10:00 a.m., 10:45 a.m., 11:30 a.m., then 2:00 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 4:15 p.m.). These tours are by reservation only; please call 04 94 58 07 24. (only in French)

The meeting point is in front of the Grand Langoustier Fort.

This fort was built between 1633 and 1637 under Cardinal Richelieu. Very similar in style to Vauban’s architecture, it features star-shaped ramparts that enclose the central tower.
