Domaine de Méaulx

It was home to portrait painter Nadar and Alphonse Karr, a writer, botanist and close friend of Victor Hugo. The estate was acquired by filmmaker Albert Lamorisse, one of cinema's greatest poets, famous for his films Crin-Blanc and Le Ballon Rouge. Le Ballon Rouge won the Palme d'Or at Cannes and an Oscar for best screenplay in Hollywood.
In contrast to Côtes de Provence, the regulations governing vins de terroir, appellation IGP, allow us to market single varietals. These provisions allow us to innovate and offer new flavors adapted to the demands of our customers. For our whites, you'll appreciate our single-varietal Vermentino, known as Rolle in Provence.
