Discovery tour of historic Cuers

This is the charm of one of the oldest Provencal villages located between the plains and hills. Rich in history, the commune bears the imprint of the past.
Old Cuers, a witness to the medieval period, reveals winding streets lined with beautiful houses from past centuries and which climb the hill. The church of Notre Dame de l'Assomption, a former collegiate church, is the beginning of the tour: its polychrome marble high altar and its organ, built in 1668 by Charles Royer, are both classified as Historic Monuments.
The commune has many fountains and wash houses, and offers a magnificent view from the Notre Dame de Santé chapel, a votive chapel built following the cholera epidemic that spared Cuers in 1865.
