A Sunday in December to get together and warm up to the sounds of traditional music. It's time for the dance!
At 11 a.m., let’s gather around Anouck and Lisa, their instruments, and their tunes. La Tresse is the meeting of two voices that come and go and intertwine as they perform original compositions and covers of melodies from here and elsewhere. Accompanied by their flutes and accordion, Anouck and Lisa invite you to let yourself be carried away on this colorful journey… And why not join in a waltz, a mazurka, a polka, or a bourrée, counting the beats with joy!
At 2:00 p.m., the Baltazar Montanaro company takes the stage next with the Montanaro-Cavez duo. Le 3ème Temps was born from the tender and playful world of Baltazar Montanaro-Nagy (violin) and Sophie Cavez (accordion). Infused with diverse cultural influences, their music remains deeply organic and moving, at once grounded and ethereal. Le 3ème Temps presents reworkings of pieces collected from musicians in France and around the world during the duo’s numerous tours since 2008. The album notably features music from Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, Brittany, Provence, and Galicia, reimagined by Sophie Cavez and Baltazar Montanaro-Nagy with their characteristic collaboration and creative freedom.
While continuing their compositional work in parallel, the duo also offers us four magnificent tracks that elegantly complement the imaginary landscapes explored while listening to this album.
