Cruise : Dolphins from Porquerolles | La Croix du Sud V

We propose a dolphin watching cruise off the islands of Hyères, lasting 4h30 in low season and 4h in high season.

From the beginning of the cruise, we can have the chance to meet groups of bottlenose dolphins frequenting the coastal area of the island. Towards the open sea and at the approach of the underwater canyons, 3 other species of dolphins evolve:

The Blue and White Dolphin (the most abundant species in the Mediterranean,) the Risso's Dolphin and the pilot whale.

According to the encounters made and the time remaining, we will try to reach more distant whale areas.

In partnership with the biologists, naturalists and photographers of "Découverte du Vivant", we will combine emotion, knowledge and education by offering you a conference on board, as well as interventions at the microphone, dealing with the biology of all the species encountered during the cruise. Like the Southern Cross V, the naturalists are holders of the "High Quality Whale Watching" label, which guarantees a sustainable and respectful observation of cetaceans.

During each cruise, a report in pictures of the cruise is offered free of charge by the professional photographers of "Découverte du vivant", allowing you to fully enjoy the encounters without worrying about the souvenir picture.
