Take part in an immersive 1.5-hour lecture in the Maison de la Nature auditorium with Denis HUIN and let yourself be guided from west to east to discover the iconic landscapes of the Maures coastline.
From the spectacular Giens Peninsula and its windswept cliffs to the luminous beaches of Plage de l'Estagnol, we will explore the diversity of coastal environments. The tour will continue to the Vallon de Saint-Clair, marked by the remarkable presence of tree euphorbias, before reaching Cap Lardier and its pine forest of stone pines, a typically Mediterranean landscape.
We will then head to the granite coast of Cap Taillat, where the rocks and sea create a striking backdrop, ending at the Étangs de Villepey and their reed beds, a true haven for biodiversity.
Throughout this guided tour, the landscapes, flora and ecological dynamics will be highlighted to give you a better understanding of the richness and fragility of these exceptional coastal environments.
An invitation to take a different look at the Maures coastline and appreciate the full value of its natural heritage.
